Soundness
The ability of an announced outcome to hold against the opposing replies defined by the protocol.
An announced outcome is sound when it holds against the opposing replies that the protocol defines. When soundness rests on a search, the result stays within the bounds that the protocol declares. An unresolved search is not treated as a refutation.
